I¡¯m not a hardcore mountain biker¡ªI just wanted an e?bike to explore the trails around the lake and do some light climbs. This bike is perfect for that. The pedal assist is smooth up to 25 km/h, and the thumb shifter makes gear changes easy. I appreciate that the pure electric mode lets me take a break from pedaling on flat sections. The IPX4 rating is enough for light rain, though I wouldn¡¯t submerge it. One star off because the seat is a bit stiff; I swapped it for a gel saddle.

I¡¯m deducting one star because the high?carbon steel frame is prone to rust if you don¡¯t dry it properly after wet rides. Keep it clean and oiled, and it¡¯s a reliable machine
